They'll find new ways to make it prohibitive to buy/sell guns, ammo & related products...likely go the cost-route, jack up taxes, fees, penalties etc...

When the ban on handguns was overturned in Chicago (after a 30 year wait) by the SC,  they just made new rules which are just about as overbearing as the full ban.    So that really didn't change much,  the new rules are just as unconstitutional as the overturned law was. Guns are still over restricted, not doing much good for the law abiding.    So someone will have to go all the way to gut the new rules now, hopefully not taking 30 years to get relief.   Illinois remains to be a place that the second amendment is not fully respected by lawmakers.

Most guns laws (not just Illinois) are probably unconstitutional.   They just haven't been overturned yet.

Exactly.  McDonald v. Chicago, Heller v. DC, these were cases that already established the unconstitutionality of Chicago's bans. They ignored those rulings, what's one more?

Sadly, it's probably too much to ask people to carry whatever they have openly and march on the state capitol demanding their elected officials get right with the constitution...or else.

The handwriting is on the wall for all to see, so the libtards will simply ignore it.  They probably won't even bother to draft new laws, just ignore the ruling by the obviously biased radical right wing activist judge.

The judge,  ironically enough,  is a Obama appointee.   I imagine he won't be getting another promotion anytime soon.

Maybe somebody else besides Team Evil has the incriminating photos this time?

"The city has 180 days to comply and it sounds like they don’t intend to appeal. Watch Chicago get safer, if they actually comply with the judge. Likely they’ll try to make the laws as onerous as possible and we’ll see more litigation."

You know these progressive pukes will make it hideously difficult...you would think a judge with half a brain sees their delaying tactitcs for what they are...should just mandate what the statute should say and cannot say and give them one week to revise or he writes it for them.  Going this route this dance won't end for years!  And they call this timely justice?
