Agreed.

But, whatever keeps the E-GOP fixated, it's all good as far as I care.

I'm guessing the republican elite are cashing in their chips with jeb, since he seems to be on the attack towards Trump almost non stop.

Yeah good luck.  At this point if its anyone but Walker, Cruz, or Carly,  we can have President Hillary leading from behind bars.

  • I refuse to accept my civil servants as my rulers
"A strict observance of the written laws is doubtless one of the high duties of a good citizen, but it is not the highest. The laws of necessity, of self-preservation, of saving our country when in danger, are of higher obligation. To lose our country by a scrupulous adherence to written law, would be to lose the law itself, with life, liberty, property and all those who are enjoying them with us; thus absurdly sacrificing the end to the means."

Pretty clear indication, with Trump and Carson doing well, the electorate wants something else than Washington regulars.

Yes, very clear.  Voters on both sides of the spectrum are sick of the DC Establishment.  I'm sure both parties are furiously scheming on how to make sure it still ends up Bush v. Clinton.

I heard the state GOP here in NC, and in Virginia as well, are planning to require a loyalty oath for candidates to appear on the ballot as a Republican.  They're going to require candidates (namely Trump) pledge to not run as an independent or else become ineligible for the ballot.  Surprised?

Surprised?  Hell no.  What is shocking though is how many people who profess a love of liberty and Founding Principles can stay anywhere near the vomit-inducing stench that is the latter day Republican Party!

And thanks to their coddling of the progressive Democrats and the incremental destruction of American institutions and society on an almost uninterrupted timeline (Reagan Era excepted) we are now at a point in time where putting a POS like Obama in office means any other POS can do that sh*t too!

Amurikah, f**k it!

ABOUT BLOODY TIME!!!!   Too bad it's twenty years too late............

Though,  the circus with Trump and to a lessor extent Bernie, means that maybe it will take the negativity that the lamestream media would be putting on the better Republican candidates (aka,  one of the ones not favored by Republican "leadership").   If it becomes hillary vs. "someone they never heard of of",  do you think some would vote "for never heard of"?   One of the reasons why people won't vote for most Republicans is because "they heard something negative".   Maybe knowing nothing would be better for the low info voter?  Just get them mad at Hillary and her parade of bullsh*t.   Or at least get them to vote for Sanders.

I am starting to wonder what would happen if BOTH Trump and Bernie ran third party.   If they both pulled away a good amount of voters from both parties, how would it end up balancing?    Just among my Democrat facebook friends,  there are quite a few that favor Sanders over Hillary.    If that circus would give Carson the ability to pull it off and win?

Has Hillary finally been wounded enough politically?

Would a third party Sanders pull away enough Democrats voters?

Would Trump supporters bail on Trump if Carson (or one of the candidates like him) was on the Republican ticket.

Since I have low expectations for this cycle,   it may end up being far more interesting then we think.

Or are we just setting ourselves up for the first openly Socialist president?

The sooner we get Bush, Christie, Graham, Pataki out the better.   None of those candidates can win.

I think Rick Perry will be the first to end his campaign.  Its going no where so far.

Both probably will end up going that route...

A thoroughly corrupt and criminal Clinton is still doing well, Plugs looks like he'll enter the fray...the others in the DemonRat camp cannot even make any headway given the horsesh*t nature of the lead dog...and the DemoProgs are just as hard as the Pubbies on non-conformists.

And now Jeb in a desperate move to revive his campaign (actually a desperate move to prove to the fat cat contributors he is still viable) he is going hard after Trump and the centerpiece of his assault appears to be the pot calling the kettle black!

 ::hysterical::

And just think, we have what, 14 more months of this sh*t?

RNC "privately" reached out to candidates about signing a "loyalty pledge".

Private...in a public way.  Gotchya.

“I [name] affirm that if I do not win the 2016 Republican nomination for president of the United States I will endorse the 2016 Republican presidential nominee regardless of who it is,” the pledge reads. “I further pledge that I will not seek to run as an independent or write-in candidate nor will I seek or accept the nomination for president of any other party.”

Looks better in the German translation -

Ich verspreche bei Todesstrafe meine vollständige und totale Loyalität zum E-GOP und der Führung davon, egal wie böse sie auch sein mögen oder was das Böse sie von mir verlangen zu begehen!

I pledge upon pain of death my complete and total allegiance to the E-GOP and the leadership thereof no matter how evil they may be or what evil they ask of me to commit!

Signed in their own blood, naturally.

Beugen Sie vor Ihrem Meister!

An Open Letter To Jonah Goldberg – RE: The GOP and Donald Trump

This is a good read.  It's a lengthy and detailed retort to the mandarins of the GOP establishment, who are currently whining about the Donald Trump phenomenon and resorting to their usual "But you have to accept our sh*t sandwich because it's not quite as awful as the Democrats'!" tactic.

Quote
And, you wonder why we’re frustrated, desperate for a person who can actually articulate some kind of push-back? Mitch McConnell and John Boehner are what the GOP give us? SERIOUSLY?

Which leads to the next of your GOP talking points. Where you opine on Fox:

“Politics is a game where you don’t get everything you want”

Fair enough. But considering we of questionable judgment have simply been demanding common sense, ie. fiscal discipline, a BUDGET would be nice.

The last federal budget was passed in September of 2007, and EVERY FLIPPING INSUFFERABLE YEAR we have to go through the predictable fiasco of a Government Shutdown Standoff and/or a Debt Ceiling increase specifically because there is NO BUDGET!

That’s a strategy?

That’s the GOP strategy?  Essentially:  Lets plan for an annual battle against articulate Democrats and Presidential charm, using a creepy guy who cries and another old mumbling fool who dodders, knowing full well the MSM is on the side of the other guy to begin with?

THAT’S YOUR GOP STRATEGY?

Don’t tell me it’s not, because if it wasn’t there’d be something else being done – there isn’t.
