And if people see this as Bernie "taking the gloves off" then he and the WSJ have a totally different view of what that phrase means...

If you really want the gloves off...start saying stuff like: "Mrs. Clinton in her first (failed) run for President liked to say America needed someone 'Who could take that call at 3am'...well, as Secretary of State she took that 3am call from Benghazi and let Americans die, including our Ambassador!, so we know Mrs. Clinton is unfit for office given her own criteria!" and then maybe I'll concur the gloves "came off".

But I seriously doubt Bernie has those stones...

Heck, most if not all of the E-GOP candidates don't either!

Were the details wrong? Sure. But I could see someones memory and/or book editor changing a meeting where attendance was discussed and conflating it with being offered a ride, but since only the full rides are documented trying to prove something now is just a he-said/they-said...

Yeah, they make a huge deal out of Carson not formally applying to West Point when all he said was that someone told him "you'd qualify for admission, we could get you in." Meanwhile they have no curiosity whatsoever about Obama's university times, like "was he admitted as a foreign student?" or "what classes did he take, what were his grades?" I mean, if the whole world was going to hear about W's C averages for the years of his presidency, why not all presidents?
