This is exactly what is happening there now. Rules of engagement are total crap. Soldiers are dying. My son, who is there, tells me how the locals know they can do as they please and for some ungodly reason the army has hired the locals (aka terrorists) to cook all their food and furnish all their bottled water....you know, that nation building crap. He ended up, along with others, with a nasty infection....guess what....linked to the water.

What a disaster.

This should be yet another huge scandal.   Once Bush left office the media lost all interest in death tolls.   When there is a story they should be covering (the death toll going up sharply like it did),  they ignore it completely. 

Imagine the media storm had the parties been reversed.
