Who says the West Virginians aren't totally stupid? Every year we are reminded by thousands of bad laws, bad choices and bad politicians. When are we going to remind all of them their lives mean absolutely sh*t? WHEN?

They clearly have a case of the stupids there. The current administration never even tried to disguise its hostility to the energy sector, in particular coal-based energy, yet they continue to reliably elect Democrats there.

I guess that's what happens when the government bribes voters. They can damage your economy, but as long as they make up for it with some social program or other, it's all good right?

Democrats have for the most part sold the public lock, stock and barrel on the "if Republicans are elected,  the safety net of society goes away".    Never mind that Republicans have never gotten rid of the "safety net" when given the opportunity to do so.    Democrats have gotten plenty of mileage out of that lie.    And voters keep buying even as it puts them out of work.
