So Many ways
« on: March 18, 2014, 10:03:34 PM »
Obama is now demanding to lok ayt and restrict all FOIA requests that even vaguely pertain to it

Gee, what if a small percentage of Americans all put in FOIA requests all at the same time.. now you are using up white house staff time to look at all of those.
Fun stuff.

My strangle-on-sight impulse twitchin' again!

And I agree with your plan, FLOOD the fascists with all sorts of requests, just make sure they are obviously targeting Executive policy so there is no doubt, there shouldn't be...a net that wide was meant to catch everything, but err on the side of being sure to muck up the fricken works!

What day should we target for D-Day (Doc Dump Day)?!

I like the way you're thinking but it's not harsh enough. You're up against pros ar gaming the system. If we flood them with requests they'll simply sh*tcan them. The courts are where the action is. Finance or underwrite groups to drag the Øbozo regime into court. Do what they did to Sarah Palin. Now instead of clerks and flunkies being tied up you've got their lawyers tied up (as well as the court system which is a good thing considering their pathetic track record).

Issa had the right idea with a continuous stream of hearings - all legitimate and appropriate IMO - but his action should have been compounded 20-times over. He doesn't have enough authority or discretion to take Øbozo down but he can hamstring him and his miserable band of thieves.

 ::thinking::

Good point.

An all-of-the-above approach is called for.

Too bad on the political front we are so desolate of leadership...

Oh well, the same fail-safe still in play...

When they sh*t can them, then YOU SUE.  They still have to pretend they are following the law. sh*tcanning an FOIA gives you standing to sue.

They have x days to respond . If they don't you can begin a suit accusing them of deliberate malfeasance. It may not be true of course, but then who cares? It would be a far better use of our political donation money to file nuisance lawsuits than it is to elect a traitorous GOP.  Even if all that happens is they sh*tcan it, they have to look at it and decide to sh*tcan it and that keeps legitimate requests from being processed. Really that will work for Taxes , Welfare programs etc.
THEY HAVE TO LOOK AT EVERYTHING.. BY LAW and they are open for suit if they don't.

In 2004 Dino Rossi won the Washington state gubernatorial race. The leftists didn't want to accept defeat so they gamed the vote until they were able to contest the election. Then they gamed the recall until they prevailed.

Conservatives attempted to obtain public records through FOIA requests but were thwarted in their efforts. It took three years to get satisfaction through the courts. By then everyone had moved on and no one wanted to continue to beat a dead mule (except me).

If you're looking for justice or fair-play you're looking to be disappointed. If you want to Cloward-Piven the system, that's another thing entirely.
