I remember this day very well.  I was pregnant and it was the day before my due date.  I was restless, wondering if I would be having my baby soon, so I turned on the tv which is something I rarely do during the day.

Jayna Davis wrote a very informative book on the subject, providing evidence of a third collaborator - a Middle Eastern man.

I remember the day-of, reports of a suspicious Middle-Eastern looking man fleeing the scene. This was before 9/11 - before people's suspicions were highly attuned to suspect Islamists every time something exploded.

The reports quickly gave way to the WASP right-winger, Timothy McVeigh, and the reports of the Middle-Eastern man went down the memory hole.

There were witnesses and the FBI? made a composite drawing.
The FBI investigated the premis and dismissed it.

Just past the turn of the century a radio talker named Chris Baker posted a picture of the the FBI composite next to one of the 9/11 conspirators, it was the closest match I have ever seen.
