We are now where The Founders were when they faced despotism.

Ever little kid that isn't paying attention (which is every kid).

I sometimes hate to be such a cynic, but these stories always make me wonder if some parent or guardian is an attention-seeker.  There's a whole mental syndrome -- Münchausen Syndrome by Proxy -- where a guardian or caregiver seeks attention through the ill health or accident of their dependent.

That's just me being cynical though. It's really hard to imagine any parent allowing this to happen to their 2 year old, so it's probably a case of legitimate scumbags. Just who could put razor blades on playground equipment? We're plumbing the depths of depravity.

There are far more anti-kids people out there now a days too.   They find children to be nuisances that get in the way of their freedom to be a**holes.

My brother has four little kids and we have been shocked by the comments people will say (seems more ire goes towards those with larger families,  just look at sites that talk about the Duggar family from arkansas on TV).

Do people forget that they were once kids?    You sure wonder sometime.
