What an ignorant pansy!  And boy, are they losing the logic battle!  Yes, the best way to confront violence is to surrender to it, the best way to stop shootings is to ban all guns (except for the police, who we all can trust entirely and implicitly, and criminals who obey no laws) and pretend that all the Regimes of the past that banned public ownership of guns (Communist Russia, Communist China, Communist North Korea...Communist everybody...Hitler's Germany...etc) resulted in mass murder of civilians who would not convert or who were hated anyway...yeah, avoiding that logic is brilliant!

Where exactly are people walking around with handguns and "resolving their disputes" by firing them?  When an aggressor has done something to earn himself a fatal dose of lead poisoning, that's not a "dispute" that's righteous self-defense.

From the very beginning of the concealed carry movement, morons like this have been trotting out ridiculous predictions of more shootouts at the OK Corral and gun fights every time somebody gets cut off in traffic. It has never happened. Crime has dropped significantly since the early 1990s.  Yeah I know, facts and reality don't matter to leftist ideologues.
