Well I guess AlGore and the rest of the climate-change-mongers are happy now, it had been a light season up till now and I recall some stories bemoaning the fact that Mother Nature seemed too docile given mankind was still trying to kill her environment and all...

Lucky last night between 8PM and 2 this morning.  Spent night in daughters basement dodging 4 tornadoes that hit all around us, plus lightninig strikes [weather guessers said 3000 in twenty minutes] in our area.  Church just north of us hit hard, nearby a fire station totally gone, several houses, and a apartment complex.  So for have only heard of one death related to storms.  Get to go through same thing tonight .......   ::pullhair::

Thanks - - now the weather guessers have moved todays storms up to this afternoon.  By 4PM they could be over in this area, at least it will be during daylight.  Work was closed at noon to give everyone time to get home - to an extent I'd rather have wife and I there, in the Church basement since we don't have one at home.  Well back to daughters if need be.

Yah, just heard a "really bad -- maybe tornados -- weather" warning for us here as well.

Yeah, we had a few flakes of the white stuff mixed in with our rain today...I guess it really could be worse elsewhere.
