Convert a $10 prepaid cell phone into a homemade security system

Wasn't really sure whether to put this in Science & Technology or TEOTWAWKI, but figured its practical potential puts it more into the latter category.  Anyhow this is a pretty nifty idea, and you could probably come up with unlimited variations on the general idea.

...hmmm, connect a Rem 870 to the same access point...loaded with buckshot...once you get the phone call you can call the local yokels to take care of what got blown out onto the front lawn.
