Not much of a secret though, is it?

Sometimes I wonder if people actually read what they write.
"A strict observance of the written laws is doubtless one of the high duties of a good citizen, but it is not the highest. The laws of necessity, of self-preservation, of saving our country when in danger, are of higher obligation. To lose our country by a scrupulous adherence to written law, would be to lose the law itself, with life, liberty, property and all those who are enjoying them with us; thus absurdly sacrificing the end to the means."

The Texas Republican gathered roughly 10 members of the GOP Conference at 8 p.m.

What's he expect to accomplish with 10 people?

That'll pretty well sum it up. Hope their aim is directed at dirty Harry, Pelosi (and the rest of the wretched bastards) then they find an ignition source at the correct time.

I'm hoping for a coup to oust the E-GOP from House & Senate leadership posts...

Crap...that even sounded too optimistic to me...

I would hope that Cruz has a plan, a long term one that will take on many fronts at once. He knows that the only way we can keep from drowning is to be in charge, and to be in charge, we the people must control all 3 branches of government, besides cleaning house of all the career politicians and lawyers. It's my opinion that anyone from anywhere, who want's to become an American, should have first shot at immigration. Most of the immigrants I knew growing up in the 50's came here with one thing in mind... to become an American, not to "fundamentally transform" America. They studied English, they studied the Constitution and the Bill of Rights, they spoke English... they loved this country. These are the kind's of people we should welcome, not welfare generations.

I know you mean well, and I really enjoy your optimism, but I don't share it. I just don't see the current problems being solved politically.

I pray I'm wrong and indeed, Cruz is a great start. But even he doesn't have the cajones to cut FSA spending.
