I've saved it to read when I have time.

Old tractors may be easy to work on, but there's definitely greater odds of breaking. That's why I broke down and bought a new one. It's still old school with no electronics and mechanical fuel injection. Otherwise I wouldn't have bought it.

My wife is the primary user of the tractor, since I kept my day job.  She needed 4WD and Power-steering, and you aren't getting those on an antique. Of course that antique will still be around when my new-fangled Korean Made machine is rusting.

Only if you can get parts when TSHTF.

Yeah, I guess I should have included a warning.  I ended up reading the entire thing from start to finish. I think it was Pandora who first called attention to him.  SO really its her fault.

Yeah, sadly he stopped putting pictures with captions in- often those were the funniest parts.
Freedom Chicken is still my favorite story.
