A lot of that happens because employees can't go at them cause then the lawsuits fly. I had an idiots yell at me because he locked his keys in his car and the battery was dead and he couldn't get the vette open and somehow this was my fault even though I have never laid eyes on him in my life but I do work at a chevy dealership and he thought that yelling at me was the way to do it til I told him that till he started to talk to me as an equal he could go f**k himself.

A and that was on a Sat night with service closed for the weekend. Monday the car was towed in and I spotted it which point the did the old threaten to have me fired and all that crap and that was on a Sat night with service closed for the weekend.

Off I went tot the customer lounge and I asked who owned the red vette he responded And I informed him that I was the guy he crapped on on the phone and if he had anything to say to me now that we were face to face.

All he could do is turn red and couldn't come up with a thing. The rest of the room started snickering at him and I told him the honey and vinegar story and he might remember it.

I know two, but, they are both the nicknames.....big men......one was a former marine.....worked for us one time.....we were talking about tearing out a porch and rebuilding it...just discussing possibilities.....went to the back of the house discussing further renovations....heard a crash and came running out....he had hit the porch at a dead run like a football player...wrecked it out in one fell swoop.....knocked it off the concrete footings.....some of the pillars were still hanging...he got up and tore them down......like an angry dentist pulling a resistant tooth....he was not the brightest man I have ever known, strong, faithful, a bit literal, so I NEVER said anything lightly around him again.....don't know what might have happened if I had said that old south saying...."that fella needs killin" but I suspect it would have gone bad for that fellow....and fast.

I'm sure nobody was actually threatened because after all, the thugs were coming to get their money and jewelry that was just being temporarily held by those customers until said thugs could pick it up.

I have to side with the manager on this. What is he supposed to do, rather than keep calm and to eventually diffuse the situation with no one getting hurt. The owner is facing some blowback.
