Barney, Krispy and Kreme are three words found in many sentences...if ya know what I mean.

Beat me to the punch. I was just fixing to post it.

I wonder if Barney could have  kept up if he'd have ran? ::hysterical::

Police stun stepdad trying to save son from fire

I know this town.  Louisiana is the first town south of Hannibal, on the Mississippi.  One of those classic old river towns.

Quote
The family of a 3-year-old killed in a northern Missouri house fire says it is outraged after police used a stun gun on the boy's stepfather as he tried to run back in and save the child.

Time to keep the shells in the shotgun where they belong, time to start shootin' tresspassers too.

Doubtful.  Everything else might be forfeit, but they'll never touch a union pension...well, Fedcoats probably could, nobody else though.

If in my clan, the evil bastard might just disppear without a trace one night...that would take care of that pension obligation...

Believe it or not, I know folks who would miss him.......of course they would just reload and try again.

I smell a reality TV series. True stories of the Park Patrol. Think of the drama! The action! ::laughonfloor::

I think we've just discovered the dumbest cop in history.

Brian Woodfill, you are today's real cop of genius.  Take a well deserved bow.   ::curtsy4::

Seems we need CE (continuing ed) for police officers.   The state (government) makes us private sector professionals do it,  and we aren't doing life and death work (unless your a doctor),  but yet most cops have little to no training or education after the police academy.

Start them with basic constitutional law.   Seems so many forget (or never knew) what should be the basis for police work,  not causing harm to citizens.   That they aren't there to bark orders at people.   They are to serve,  to be inconvenienced by the public,  who by the way are their employers.    They forget that no job entitles them to convenience (when was the last time someone went out of their way to make YOUR job easier,  thats right never!).

Yes,  police work can be nasty and sometimes dangerous.    But it gives no right to trample on other peoples rights.
