A good piece by Herman Cain about the premise of the Obama presidency.

The basis of the article is that Obama,  Democrats and liberals sold many (idiot) voters the idea that the federal government can solve problems.    Many of which, as we all know,  could never solve,  or in many cases, make much worse.

You'd think they'd know by now that most issues come down to trade-offs, not solvation.  But no.  They either blunder or bluster from one "problem" to another without a thought for consequences, unintended and otherwise, because ... good intentions.  At this point, governments are nothing more than jobs programs for the ..... er ...... enlightened.

Our problem is that once every generation you have a new bunch that are just as ignorant as this last one and the one before that. Republican democracy demands an educated voter, a voter that understands the whole purpose of federalism, the purpose of the Revolution and why the current constitution was a step beyond anything written and put in place before in history.

Unfortunately, we don't have a way out other than a reboot via an armed rebellion. People under the age of 25 without a property or skin in the game have little in common with the "common good" of the country. Anyone that receives perks or bennies from the government should never be allowed to enter a place where ballot casting is done.

I've reached my limit or in other words, Obama's proverbial red line, and I force myself to withdraw a little more. Soon, even the love of my five year old daughter won't be able to restrain my anger and poof, my personal war will begin.
Remember, four boxes keep us free:
The soap box, the ballot box, the jury box, and the cartridge box.

Drop me a line when you do, Warpmine.
