We are now where The Founders were when they faced despotism.

Quota from article,  "The bodies were transported to the Waukesha County medical examiner's office for autopsies; Walworth County does not have a medical examiner."  How quaint,  didn't know there were places in the US where whole counties do without people like medical examiners anymore..............

Of course many places were like that until fairly recently too.  My own community of nearly 25,000 people had until the 1960's two town marshals (one worked morning hours, the other evening hours),  you called them at home if you needed them at night.   Now,  town council members worry that 40 full time police officers aren't enough.      Another nearby community got away with having only 4 full time cops until 1984,  when a crazy guy off his meds shot up a Kmart killing 4 people and shooting two of the four cops (they both survived).   Now taxpayers have to pay for 25 cops there,  and the town is known for its speed traps because they have very little to actually do.
