The attitude today is that you pay for the basics of life AFTER you've paid for your wants.

And those basics get subsidized directly or circuitously by the Federal Government...

Keeping the progressive herd happy keeps the illusion of participatory franchise in play...

See, you can have your cake and eat it too!

Sun's out...gun's out.

Seriously, this woman needs water. I'd say it would take at least 10 gallons just for a sponge bath.

  • I refuse to accept my civil servants as my rulers
"A strict observance of the written laws is doubtless one of the high duties of a good citizen, but it is not the highest. The laws of necessity, of self-preservation, of saving our country when in danger, are of higher obligation. To lose our country by a scrupulous adherence to written law, would be to lose the law itself, with life, liberty, property and all those who are enjoying them with us; thus absurdly sacrificing the end to the means."

Only in America can you be "poor and downtrodden" and suffer the ill effects of having too much to eat.

what ever happened to darwin's principle?  we have met the enemy and it is our delusion that we can prevent that principle from achieving its ends
