Had one in town here not but a few years ago...leveled a building, nothing but a crater...that one had accumulation before it sparked, much more damaging when that happens. Risk will never be zero with combustible material.
Was that the Somalis who blew up an apartment building in Minneapolis?
No, that was more recent, that was the one we suspected was Jihadi clowns mixing crap they shouldn't be playing with because there was never anything definitive on that other than the authorities and jurnotards reporting "gas leak" like that would just cover it IIRC.
The one I am thinking of happened just off Highway 10 outside of Anoka, a business building went kablooey, it was determined by investigators that there were reports of a gas smell for several days and that a buildup accumulated, IIRC at least one person died, others nearby injured. It is why they put that putrid rotten egg smell in natural gas, in its natural state it is odorless, you smell that take it serious. I prevented a bad thing happening at my folks old place for a small leak I could smell, turns out the bell-valve on the outside regulator was loose.
