I hope it goes hot. Enough of this "please protest in peace" bullsh*t. If this protest is peaceful, it's only putting off the next one that won't be. Let the dance begin.
You are getting your wish. You know...when I was a kid and there would be some sort of disaster (like a hurricane) the governor would send in the troops to patrol the streets and, if memory serves, they had orders to shoot looters. Hence, no looting. Those were the days.
Today, the police stand by and watch while the looters loot and the arsonists set fires. Then the police devote their attention to protecting the firemen while they attempt to put out the fires. Meanwhile, (I think they will find sometime tomorrow) the professionals are busting into stores, backing up their trucks and emptying the shelves. Then they set another fire to cover their tracks. It's going to be a very long night in Ferguson and when it's all over there is going to be a huge mess.
No one is going to want to have a business there. And for a while, at least, no one is going to be able to work there anyway. The authorities will shut down the affected areas and even the undamaged businesses will be closed by default. Jobs gone. Gone for days or maybe weeks. In some cases, forever.
Yep, the social justice warriors (who sanctioned and organized this mess) will be screaming that there are now no jobs in Ferguson.
Tough sh*t, I say.
