What is it with these left wing Jews?  They're the most virulently anti-Israel people you'll find anywhere outside of a mosque.  I just don't get them at all.

I think to some extent there's the fallacy of thinking that contrariness equals intellectual rigor.  Some people just have to be contrarians because they get off on going against the grain, they enjoy the sense that they're one of the few smart enough to have figured it out.

I always figured it was some sort of religious-like belief in a Progressive Enlightement Intellectualism that fills them with such hubris that it has a suppressive function on rational, logical, what we would refer to as independent thought...

I doubt you could even get them to describe in any intelligent manner the steps they take to get from A to Z.
