Woodstock-45 years ago
« on: August 15, 2014, 08:45:22 PM »
I saw that this is the 45th anniversary.
I didn't go there but did go to Watkin's Glen a couple years later.
Supposedly bigger than Woodstock

Since I was only 12, I didn't quite make it.

They probably had nothing to steal.

Nah.
It was just like MLM.
Everybody sold it by breaking down to smaller units.
Keys to 1/4 lb. to ounces to nickel and dime bags to joints.

Don't get me started on hippies and Woodstock.
In a doomsday scenario, hippies will be among the first casualties. So not everything about doomsday will be bad.

"Hey, man...when this is over let's go back home to Ferguson, Indiana and get jobs in public service...that would be so cool."

"In twenty years I'm gonna file child porn charges against my parents."

"I thought you were gonna pack the deodorant."

"Hillary Rodham: The Lost Years"

"I was just laying there, strung out on acid, when it came to me: adult diapers! And now you know the rest of the story."

"No, seriously dude...I hear that Yazgur's farm has toilets, showers, food and everything. And it's going to be sunny and dry, too. Totally worth being stuck in traffic with no hope of turning around."

"So, there's this festival next month called "Earth Day" or something and we should totally go because we all care so much about the environment and stuff..."

"Casting call for the Texas Chainsaw Massacre."

"Because looking like a complete asshole just wasn't enough. You had to behave like one to be authentic."

Why do I detest hippies? Let me count the ways.

You know damned good and well that most of these pukes were Democrat activists and stayed that way their entire lives. Think of the collective future misery represented by these crowd scenes. Sorta makes you wish for an ebola outbreak.

Nothing says waste of space like a filthy hippie telling you what's wrong with you and how you should live your life differently as if he/she/it is some kind of fount of human wisdom. These are John Kerry's people. Barack Obama's mother was of this ilk.

I have to wonder if someone got the idea for Roach Motels from these pics.

It's late. I'm tired. Hippies were the idiots who got old and now run the Democrat party. The DNC is the hippie legacy. Our country is totally screwed thanks to this hideous generation of miscreants. Did these wretches inspire the final scene in "Fargo?" Makes you wonder.

Yeah, I remember those clowns!

And I don't think their musty stank will ever leave my memory...

One day they'll pay for that!

My late grandparents  made the mistake of taking their vacation in upstate New York at that time.  They complained about how those  hippies causing the worst traffic jam of all time (and they lived in NJ the home of traffic jams).

Once every year in hell, Satan forces all of the damned to dress up like this and dance unceasing for several days with that idiot announcer saying over and over, "This must be heaven, man!"

After that he gives them a break by putting them in chicken suits and tossing them in a pool of lava.
