Robotic Overlords

Humans Need Not Apply

So in addition to Socialist policies destroying the economy, soon this tech will put 45% of the remaining workforce out of work.

We will be looking at over 50% unemployment.

Yes this in theory frees up bright young minds to do other work, but the other work will largely be troubleshooting what  the robots Can't Do, and since we know this generation can't do independent thinking or critical thought, by and large they will be like the horses ( anyone else notice the Elmers glue on the desk?)

In the end this will mean you either know how to think and you survive.. eventually buying your own general purpose robots to do all of the work on your self-providing homestead, or you end up hoping the govt can give you a handout.. so you can buy some of this robot made production. Prices will probably fall ( less demand, and cheaper labor inputs)  providing energy flow remains steady and we don't have WWIII, a Civil War or a dollar collapse.

However as we have seen, more automation doesn't make better people - it does the opposite. The human race simply gets itself into trouble when it becomes too prosperous and life becomes too easy.

"...providing energy flow remains steady and we don't have WWIII, a Civil War or a dollar collapse."

Caveat emptor!  Oops, missed it by a mile!  Shat happens...

"However as we have seen, more automation doesn't make better people - it does the opposite."

Time for a Butlerian Jihad if you ask me...my needy smart-phone is beginning to really pee me off!  And all this advancing tech is only going to be used against us anyway!

Judas Priest - Metal Gods [HD] Live 1982.
"A strict observance of the written laws is doubtless one of the high duties of a good citizen, but it is not the highest. The laws of necessity, of self-preservation, of saving our country when in danger, are of higher obligation. To lose our country by a scrupulous adherence to written law, would be to lose the law itself, with life, liberty, property and all those who are enjoying them with us; thus absurdly sacrificing the end to the means."

- Thomas Jefferson
