Arrested for filming a militarized police arrest from his porch.

Hmmm.

“In a chilling show of militaristic thuggery, police in Oregon arrested a man for attempting to video record them blasting their way into a neighbor’s home as they served a search warrant."

Police are rapidly eroding any support they've enjoyed. The assumption that police officers are there to help the law-abiding is now becoming naive.
"A strict observance of the written laws is doubtless one of the high duties of a good citizen, but it is not the highest. The laws of necessity, of self-preservation, of saving our country when in danger, are of higher obligation. To lose our country by a scrupulous adherence to written law, would be to lose the law itself, with life, liberty, property and all those who are enjoying them with us; thus absurdly sacrificing the end to the means."

Perhaps all filming should take place off of a Picatinny rail?

Uh,  didn't that department get the memo from the Supreme Court?   Filming the cops are legal.  Even the moron wearing black robes have said so.
