Sadly though, I do not see a lot of attention by the media on this day, some radio stations (the non-moonbat ones anyway) are talking about it, and I expect I'll see the usual good people about the overpass they gather on each year...

But it seems like people are forgetting...and I am not talking about the people lost that day, those who knew them will never forget, but the who (Islaminals) and the why (They want to kill all non-Islaminals) is slowly being forgetten...

I will not forget who did this and why, ever!!!

I still find it unfathomable that our nation elected a man named "Hussein" only 7 years after 9/11/01 showed us the face of Islam. The belief that going to absurd lengths to demonstrate tolerance makes us stronger or better is a national psychosis.
"A strict observance of the written laws is doubtless one of the high duties of a good citizen, but it is not the highest. The laws of necessity, of self-preservation, of saving our country when in danger, are of higher obligation. To lose our country by a scrupulous adherence to written law, would be to lose the law itself, with life, liberty, property and all those who are enjoying them with us; thus absurdly sacrificing the end to the means."

Exactly.  In the first several months to a year after 9/11, I thought finally -- finally -- people will be forced to wake up and realize political correctness and all the other trite bromides of the liberal establishment are dangerous.  That it would finally be time to roll up sleeves and get to doing the messy work that we'd been consciously avoiding for so long.  And indeed, a lot of people felt just that way, none more so than the rank and file of the military. And all I see is their efforts squandered and profaned, not just by the current Obamanation but his GOP predecessor too.  They were sent to engage the enemy with one hand tied behind their backs and one foot hobbled, again in deference to political correctness.

In the years since 9/11, it has become painfully apparent that the American people are going to have to experience much, much worse to break the spell cast on them by the Left.  It's depressing and disheartening.

That.  Absolutely.  UNsane.  And schizoid as well, considering everybody knew his middle name, but it wasn't to be spoken or examined.  Recall radio host Bill Cunningham, in introducing McCain at a campaign rally, " ... also called Obama a "hack Chicago-style Daley politican" and twice used Obama's middle name Hussein, referring to him as "Barack Hussein Obama.", and McCain APOLOGIZING for that later.

And then Hussein dedicated the 9-11 anniversary to a "day of service" instead of a day to remember (the "service" makes me want to break things and yeah, he sure doesn't want us remembering exactly *who* murdered 3,000 that day).  That's been all over the news today; what "service" events are happening all over the state, including NC's Governor volunteering at a food bank.

It's disgustipatin'.

I once hoped that 9/11 would put political correctness into the dustbin of history as well.   I am very disappointed as well.

If anything,  it has only made political correctness even worse.   Your right,  what will need to happen to finally end it,  will make 9/11 tiny in comparison.  I am guessing a major city will likely be destroyed.    And we will be in even worse shape too,  as the military is really suffering from what will be eight hard years of the Obama regime.
