Couric confirms she's leaving 'CBS Evening News'
NEW YORK (AP) - Katie Couric has confirmed that she's leaving her anchor job at the "CBS Evening News." Couric also told People magazine in a story published Tuesday on its website that she hasn't decided what she's doing next. But she says she is "looking at a format that will allow me to engage in more multi-dimensional storytelling."

"...she is "looking at a format that will allow me to engage in more multi-dimensional storytelling."

Storytelling?  That's what my momma used to call lying. ;)

Well, she does currently work for SeeBS, the former home of Dan 'What's The Frequency Kenneth?' and 'We Have Independently Verified The Documents' Rather.

Maybe she could go on Romper Room and tell stories.  Do they still have Romper Room?  Katie 'Colon' Couric can be an example of 'Ms. Don't Be'.

This woman could just as easily have been a lunch lady or a receptionist at a landfill. Not that there's anything wrong with either profession, but just to say that the station to which she ascended was WAY beyond her aptitudes.
"A strict observance of the written laws is doubtless one of the high duties of a good citizen, but it is not the highest. The laws of necessity, of self-preservation, of saving our country when in danger, are of higher obligation. To lose our country by a scrupulous adherence to written law, would be to lose the law itself, with life, liberty, property and all those who are enjoying them with us; thus absurdly sacrificing the end to the means."

She'd be overpaid no matter what the work...

I'll say "see ya later, enjoy that door hitting you in the ass" but they'll just put another overpaid leftist bullsh*tter in her place...

That is what is soooo annoying about people like her.

Meh.  Good riddance.

Makes no nevermind to me -- I don't watch network "news" anyway -- but they probably will replace her with a younger, perkier Couric-model.

Who gives a crap!!If FOX didn't show clips of her I wouldn't know who she is. They used an amateur to run what is supposed to be a real news show. She failed because the network has failed to put on programing that the majority of the pubic has an interest in. The don't serve the public and are doomed to circle the bowl till if goes off into the sewer line with the rest of the crap.

I don't really care either, haven't watched network news in decades, it's the MFM, nothing will change...except continued drop in ratings.  But her mug does appear in youtube clips we see posted where she says typical leftard bullsplattery, especially during elections and such, so that will not be missed...but I'm sure the next moron will resume business as usual...

Isn't he entombed in Hanoi, with a 24 hour honor guard? He was one of their war heroes after all.

Another proglodyte no doubt, haven't seen 60 worthless minutes in years but its always a hatchet job on someone or some industry...rarely do they stalk the truly despicable and guilty...
