I don't recall if I have said this before* on our forum but I'm going to say it again.
(The beauty of our forum is that I can express this opinion and not get banned for saying what I think.)
This whole islamic/jihad/senseless killing/maiming/etc. thing is not going to go away. In fact, it's coming here. Very obviously it is in Canada now. But we can expect to see it here in ever increasing instances as time goes on. I repeat, it isn't going away.
Islam is the only religion I can think of where a sizable portion (if not all) of its adherents believe that killing/maiming/etc. is doctrinal. That is, those activities are normal for them.
So here is what I think:
Ultimately, it's us or them. If we (that is, non-muslims) are to literally survive we are going to have to kill every single last one of them. That seems to be their position as regards us and at some point we are going to have to come to grips with this concept. We are going to have to go to war against islam and every single last one of its adherents because they are already at war with us. We are going to have to exterminate them. When this will happen I do not know. It could be in my lifetime or it could be after I have passed away but I am convinced that this situation is untenable and that it is only a matter of time before something has to give. Either they will triumph and we will all be killed or we will triumph and they will all be killed. Ultimately (and that word is being used correctly here), one of these two groups of people will have to be extinguished. Us or them.
And this is only because muslims will not have it any other way. We are willing to live in peace with them. They are not willing to live in peace with us. The evidence for this is overwhelming. In every country where islam has gained a foothold it gradually becomes the majority religion by either driving out or killing all of its opponents. There are no exceptions to this situation that I can recall. If anyone knows of a country that was once majority islam that somehow ceased to be that way, that didn't eventually drive out or kill all non-muslims feel free to name it. Muslims are the most intolerant people the world has ever known. And that's saying something because the ethnic Chinese in China are pretty bad that way. Even satanists are more "peaceful" than muslims. When I try to think of something that is akin to islam the only thing that comes to mind is rabies. Come into contact with islam long enough and you are going to either be killed or become a crazed killer.
Lots of people have noticed that you just don't hear any outrage, disgust or similar objection from allegedly "peaceful" or "mainstream" muslims when these atrocities occur. There is a reason for this. It's because they aren't outraged. They aren't disgusted. They have no objections. They agree with the "extremists" and they have zero sympathy for their victims. They grudgingly display a modicum of disagreement when challenged over one of these events. Instead they turn the table on whoever is challenging them and demand to make known that islam is a religion of peace and "how dare you" suggest that it is anything but peaceful. All evidence to the contrary.
So...the only thing that I can conclude from observable data is that sooner or later this situation will have to be faced and dealt with. Islam is a morally poisonous religion. There is no getting along with it. You may as well try to get along with bubonic plague. The world will either kill these monsters off or eventually, ultimately it will be plunged into darkness for an unknown amount of time.
Admittedly, this notion appears to be at odds with my Christian beliefs. As a Christian, I am to love others and demonstrate Christ's love and His path to salvation. However, I do not believe that my religion was supposed to be a suicide pact, either. I do no believe that God wants me and every other believer to allow ourselves to be killed. It is one thing to be a martyr for one's beliefs...that does happen and it has had great success in eventually turning around the lives of some of the persecutors. But in a situation where there is a genocidal enemy? No. I don't think that is what Jesus had in mind when he encouraged His followers to "turn the other cheek." You can't turn the other cheek when you are dead. We went to war against the Nazis because they were genocidal. Same with the imperial Japanese. In both of those examples the countries were turned around and are now allies. But in both of those examples we were dealing with nationalism rather than religion. I suspect that a religion, especially an evil religion, cannot be defeated short of annihilation.
So, again...I think that ultimately islam and all of its adherents are going to have to be exterminated. That's what I think.
