Hydorlogy student provides startling revelation again...
« on: December 25, 2014, 02:57:17 PM »
http://www.breitbart.com/london/2014/12/23/noaagate-how-ocean-acidification-could-turn-out-to-be-the-biggest-con-since-michael-manns-hockey-stick/

Looks like the authors of a certain paper that says the carbon dioxide is causing dangerous levels of PH a.k.a. acidification of the oceans omitted quite a bit of scientific data available since beginning of the last century through 1987 with convenience, just like Michael Mann did with his famed hoax graph shaped like a hockey stick.

NOAAGATE  H/T Cardigan at IOTWReport.

When they cry wolf chances are somebody will come over and shoot them some fraudulent scientists. ::rockets::

They make up graphs showing artificial drops in the ocean ph due to increase of CO2? I find that hard to believe. ::bashing::

NOAAGATE!

Well, one way to deal with that is to CUT FUNDING!

Oh, I forgot...Pubbies can't do that, government isn't the problem it's who is running the government that is the problem, right?

Yeah, I sense a strongly worded letter, that'll fix things.

And this student, who exchanged a series of emails with the two responsible for the "oceans are becoming more acidic" claim, repeatedly asked for the source data they used. He received only a snarky response, basically "how dare you question our motives or the quality of our science" and "if you continue like this your career will not last long."

One of the major myths of our age that has been slain is this notion of science being objective, unbiased, and interested in the truth. The reality of it seems to be that many in the scientific fields have been more interested in establishing themselves as some sort of new Druid class, the wizards of smart who should control our lives because only they can look into the crystal ball.

Bunch of frauds. When billions of tax dollars and wide ranging public policies are at stake, there should be a more severe penalty for this sort of willful fraud and sophistry.

Unfortunately, there isn't any accountability in anything connected to this hoax. At least with the Eastern Roman Empire if you claimed to have God favoring your side and you clearly didn't, they put you to death so that made the suitors rather slim in numbers Here, they just reward you with the next step up the ladder.

We'll never "wise up" as a people, never. ::bashing::
