But it royally pisses me off when these people get their panties in such a twist and infringe on the rights of property owners.  The smoking policy of an establishment should be entirely the prerogative of the proprietor. The free market will either ratify or veto the policy.

Squarely, you hit the nail Glock, "property rights" trump Nazi do gooder ordinances. The owners pay property taxes therefore they have more rights than the assholes that thought and passed this sh*t. How and why so many cities allow this sh*t just gives warning that Liberty is dead in Amerika.

Actually, the French Quarter is still pretty much the same. We went a couple years ago for out daughter-in-law's birthday. About once every score is good for me.
