I wish that FNC would quit showing file footage of bin Laden. They won't show images of the towers on fire and falling down but they give tribute to bin Laden by continuing to show images of him. It is to puke.

Some questions...

If they could shoot him in the head then why couldn't they take him alive? Did they have orders to shoot on sight? And if so, why?

It seems to me that he would be an excellent source of intelligence. It would have been interesting to see what could be extracted from him with enhanced interrogation techniques. And then do the military tribunal thing with the summary firing squad. The result would have been the same but with some intelligence acquired.

Libya was an overstep.  Hasn't seemed to slow down Obama one bit.  He's still partying like it's 1999.

Just watched the replay of Toonce's speech. You will notice that he said that as soon as he got into office he directed Panetta to make getting bin Laden the number one priority of the war on terror.

So, he thinks that it wasn't for GWB? No, but he wants everyone else to believe that and that only his election made this day possible.

Personally, I'd've beheaded the f*cker's corpse and stuck the head on a pike at the White House or Ground Zero.  Then thrown what's left of the body, properly wieghted, overboard at sea.  No memorial shrine for this @sshole.

No, they said they got him today. That part about it being a week ago was from an early report that was, as usual, wrong.

But, yeah, I'm all for stuffing him full of bacon and letting pigs play with the corpse.
