What an ass!

Hey, Francis?  I think your closest advisor's closest advisor is Satan himself you weak-minded fool!

Go peddle your Proglodyte incantations elsewhere...we have enough fools of our own to overcome without you and your meddling getting in the way!

Why did they have to elect this fool and at a very precarious time?

One thing is certain for sure, although Jesus built His church upon the rock, Peter, it appears that water(sin) has eroded it's foundation after two thousand years..

Sad but true, maybe another good one will come along...might be a long wait though, this guy is young compared to the norm.

Another day, another misquote.

I hate to get into a public disagreement with a colleague here, but the outrage du jour seems to be based on a translation that may or may not be deliberately wrong. As the BBC and the Associated Press are at the root of it, I’m leaning towards the former.

A BBC reporter in the room claimed that Pope Francis said “you are an angel of peace” while presenting a gift (which is Vatican tradition) to Abbas.

The Vatican reporter for the Italian newspaper La Stampa has it differently:

As is tradition with heads of State or of government, Francis presented presented a gift to the Palestinian leader, commenting: “May the angel of peace destroy the evil spirit of war. I thought of you: may you be an angel of peace.”

Calling someone something and exhorting him to be that something are two entirely different things.

What has befuddled me and several of my conservative friends who are also devout Roman Catholics is the willingness of our conservative friends to take news about this pope at face value from MSM outlets that aren’t trusted for anything else.

Thinking Abbas is an agent of anything other than evil shows poor judgement even if hopeful, but I stand corrected.  I get a kick out of someone finding more fault with the BBC over the AP like there is a difference, but that is another old argument going nowhere.  Glad it was caught.

Its like Pope John Paul was never pope and Reagan was never president doesn't it?

The leadership of the 1980's is long gone,  replaced by nothing.

Why did Pope Benedict step down?  He seemed solid.

It must have been the pro-homo/pro-gaia/pro-new world order types forcing him aside...

Ann B - It Is Now Appropriate To Begin Serious Discussions as to Whether Pope Francis is, in fact, The Antichrist.

Anti-Christ?

I'll let more qualified people speak to that.

What I do know he is an asshole.  An asshole contaminated by socialist bullsh*t.  An asshole who buys into socialist bullsh*t despite the atrocities socialism has wrought over millions for 100 years (and counting).  He is most certainly the Anti-Pope.  JP II has to be reeling in his crypt...that his Church would elevate such a twisted fool...

It is madening, sickening...

But, this is the time we live in...madness and sickness promoted as the new normal...

If it is the end may the end be quick...

Not just Ann, the questioning about Francis maybe being the Anti-Christ is evidenced in the rising hits in Google searches, and who knows what all the other engines are getting pinged with requests.

He is certainly still retaining Anti-Pope status...
