2 Timothy 1:7
For God did not give us a spirit of timidity, but of power & of love and of calm, a well-balanced mind, discipline and self-control.

Yes it was. And so was GW's speech.

I almost forgot that we had honorable people around what with all of the crap being spewed at us from the left lately.

That was good, I liked it, but in a way it made me a bit sad...

It reminded me of a time not all that long ago when anyone no matter what race, could speak truthfully without fear...we used to call it for what it was, it was "common sense", and it has all but died out in this world.

Still, well done Denzel.   ::thumbsup::

There was a time not long ago when a wonderful speech giving glory to God was not a remarkable thing at all. It was the norm, from celebrities, business leaders, politicians.

The fact that it is such a refreshingly remarkable thing to hear a high-profile celebrity give glory to God without reservation is sad.
"A strict observance of the written laws is doubtless one of the high duties of a good citizen, but it is not the highest. The laws of necessity, of self-preservation, of saving our country when in danger, are of higher obligation. To lose our country by a scrupulous adherence to written law, would be to lose the law itself, with life, liberty, property and all those who are enjoying them with us; thus absurdly sacrificing the end to the means."

Unfortunately, this is a true story.

Great speech, Denzel! ::thumbsup::
