I've found most people that run think tanks, organizations, what-not, like to get whatever ideas or information they're peddling, out to the public.

"Most" being a key word.

The problem with having to research, is that we keep coming across interesting bits like...

Former staff

Nicolas Martin was ACSH's administrative director during parts of 1988 and 1989. He dubbed ACSH's President, Elizabeth Whelan, the "junk food queen" for her defense of companies who make products with low nutritional value.

Heh.  Like lemonade?

As for us being paranoid?  You might have a point there.  I have it on good authority that one or two in here actually supported Robert Bork, back in the day.   ::foilhathelicopter::

I mean, you'd think that an organization that's supposedly been active for 20 years, has more of a presence than

1 newspaper article in 2011
Ah, a thumbs up for the I-Phone in 2007
Skeptical of divorce statistics in 2009
Definite Mac fanboy..another C-Net mac blurb from 2006
Amazon reviews.

Just nothing called Consumer Health Education Council.

Read my link.   You'll get the joke.  A definite sign of being a very bad person, is supporting Robert Bork.

All kidding aside, I'd like to take this opportunity to promote the poster you know as "MNHawk" to the position of Executive Vice President of the Association of Men With Adonis Like Physiques.

What?  You say you've never heard of AoMWALP?  Paranoid bitches, every last one of you!  ::mooning::

I see that.  He deleted every one of his posts.  If it wasn't for him being quoted by others, one would never know he'd been here.

Wonder if his "quotes" will show up on an internet search now.

I asked him twice for specific information regarding his organization and he booked instead.

Very interesting.

As I tried to joke, I think this guy is literally someone (or no one) who just gave himself a title for vanity.  Rush jokes that so many organization are just someone and a fax machine.  If this guy even had that, there would be a phone number and addess.

This guy's entire written history is badmouthing an organization he worked for in 1989, a couple of mac product reviews at CNet, some amazon reviews, and a lemonade article that kind of went viral.

MNHawk
Executive Vice President of the Association of Men With Adonis Like Physiques.

I should keep that footer.  It makes me sound important.  ::puke::

So how did he get printed in the LA Times?

So how did he get printed in the LA Times with accreditation to his non-existent organization?

I smell a stinky at the Times.

He also renamed his account "evaporated" and his email as "gone@longgone".  And, so now, he is.

How many of these professional appearing collaborators portraying themselves as normal are out there confusing and misdirecting innocent moderates into thinking they  are going right when actually they are being drifted left.

I have a sneaky feeling more than we know.  The fact that this clown deleted all his posts speaks volumes.  Talk about paranoid.  Still wonder how he got here.  Somehow this place manages to attract 'em.

Look at the progs running fake TEA Party (backed!) candidates.  The only requirements to be a lefty proglibtard are to be amoral and sociopathic; unscrupulous is merely mother's milk to these jack@asses.

I think you're probably right Rick.

But at least we have a lot of people here who are hard to fool.
