Anybody go to the drive-in on here, anymore?

This is an article on the one we go to.

It was supposed to permanently close after last season but we were pleasantly surprised when it opened this year

There's only a couple remaining anywhere in the Twin Cities outlying suburbs. Seems we end up at one every couple/three years or so.
"A strict observance of the written laws is doubtless one of the high duties of a good citizen, but it is not the highest. The laws of necessity, of self-preservation, of saving our country when in danger, are of higher obligation. To lose our country by a scrupulous adherence to written law, would be to lose the law itself, with life, liberty, property and all those who are enjoying them with us; thus absurdly sacrificing the end to the means."

One up the road from where I live. We normally go a few times a year but I've been so busy we've not made it.

We go at least a half dozen times a year to the one in the article.

It's about 30 miles away.

I owned a closed down drive-in at one time.

Made a little truck stop there

Last year they plowed under the last drive-in in town and turned it into an insta-ghetto of cheap townhouses. All we are is dust in the wind.....dude.
