Yup.

The sea is harder to get to, and easier for lunatics to (cough) disappear in (cough) accidents...

The problems we face today are there because the people who work for a living
are outnumbered by those who vote for a living.

It was already a dump, from what I've been reading lately.  For all the "X-million dollar compound" touted by the media, I saw rot on the lower outside walls myself in the early pictures; the later reports note the inside was trashed as well.

These people don't know the first thing about creation, production (other than DNA downloads) or maintenance, only death and destruction.

Yeah, especially that death and destruction part...and to think these people reached the zenith of their civilization over 800 years ago...once Ghengis and Charles the Hammer starting beating on them their days were numbered and they were finally put down as a regional power once the Ottomans fell.  Too bad their bad joke of a religion didn't die with them.  We must take care of the latter!

And what is tauted as their contributions to civilization are things they bought, learned or otherwise obtained from their captives.

I know, I know.  Probably why I could never be a liberal--that and I like personal hygiene and eating what I want.
