Well, he (Ryan) wanted unanimous support in the caucus vote to ensure a safe vote in the full House vote, remember the Dems get a vote too, and while some said they'd support/work with Ryan they will vote for their asshat of choice.  Ryan wants this to be a deal sealed in blood, no defectors.

Frankly if business-as-usual these games have no use for folks like us...
