No wonder this is downplayed in the media...if products of a non-government bailed-out enterprise they'd be announcing it as the most evil thing ever...good thing this was just a fireball risk and not fudging super-critical emissions systems!

Whew!  They dodged a big bullet there!

You forgot to mention some of the cars are 10 yrs old. Heck, I have trouble with cars less than 5 yrs old leaking oil.

I forget a lot of stuff.

Like the last time a decent domestic vehicle rolled off an American assembly line and performed without failing and/or attempting to kill the owner/driver...

Early 70's maybe, late 60's?  Certainly the Big Labor/Bailout era has sucked royally in most aspects.

Heck, I can't remember...long ass time I bet...
