And are people aware of the generally accepted breakpoint of 70?
People who go out over 70...their passing can be sad and too soon...but people passing below 70 and the tragic meter is tripped. Always made me think anybody near that mark is a bit unfortunate either way under such an inflexible understanding. Obviously the younger the more tragic, but I don't like being told what the "norm" is.
I guess for me I don't consider it a good run so much on years as what you got to do in the years you had...but in general numerical terms you make it to 80 and I think you should have had a good run and every day after that is a bonus.
Hopefully Alan made good use of his years.
