Ready for another Northern Plains Snowmageddon?
« on: February 02, 2016, 12:01:58 PM »
A paltry 5-10" of fluffy stuff, 20-30mph winds...most of it accumulating from now till 6pm...

Don't know if some metro pansy weather nerd named this storm something...frankly I don't care...

This be winter...it happens.

Aside from messing up a commute...IDGAF.

How goes the new job?  Well, I hope.

Right now I have two jobs, no replacement for my former position until mid month, so I am helping there too, and my new boss is pleased how quickly I am running with things, so it is going well.  Left early because of snow and it took 2 hours to creep my way home.  I will have a longer day tomorrow but it beats getting home late.  I know the people in my new role and am fitting in good. Definitely more meetings, but being closer to operations I knew that going in.

Took 1 1/2 hours to get in.  It's official...I'm plumb wore out with winter.

Oh, that reminds me, I have to send my association manager a thank you note for still not having me plowed out by 6am, that was damn nice of them...nothing like having to blast your way out of your own garage to hit street.  fortunate for my idiot neighbors they didn't have a vehicle in my line of fire.  Maybe next time.
