The $20 bill: Andrew Jackson = out, Harriet Tubman = in

So newly printed $20 bills will no longer have Andrew Jackson on them.  They will feature Harriet Tubman.

I'm not of the opinion that she doesn't deserve recognition for what she did, it's just that this change is so reeking of PC.  They want Jackson out because Indians, and obviously they weren't about to replace him with another dead white man, so.......

eta - after further reading, it appears Jackson will remain on the bill, but has been moved to the reverse side.

Since she was a staunch supporter of guns, it is said that she often carried while making speeches, the proponents would likely withdraw their support if this becomes common knowledge.

The back-story to this is that Tubman identified as Jackson...& that makes it right!

I will use this new note only to purchase Aunt Jemima (who identifies as happier than Tubman) pancake mix.

To run with Pablo's suggestion, maybe we should all just continue referring to it as Andrew Jackson.  Insist that he was not only transgender, but transracial as well.  Defy them to prove otherwise.  Defy them to prove that he couldn't just as easily identify as a black woman.

TransChron, too! It's widely believed that Jackson (1767 - 1845) slowly morphed into Tubman (1822 - 1913) in his waning years. Trans-chronologicalism is a small, but growing, minority brought upon by the shifting space/time continuum (which is enhanced by Climate Change) in which many assume the identities, and thus identify, as someone from another time & place. Chronological identity-matching can be quite debilitating & we should really work on the construction of other dimensions so that confusion is kept to a minimum.
