Smithfield looks to be smack in the middle of NC, not familiar with the area, but I am guessing it is rural and not overly burdened with libiot infestation.

In my minds eye I see the strings of pearls slowly unclutched from the cooling and blood-stained fingers of Chapel Hill orthodox collectivists after their heads exploded upon hearing about this wonderful turn of events.

Smithfield is in a major pig farming area.  Probably more pork produced around there than anywhere else in the US.  So yes, it's rural and agricultural.  I read about this elsewhere, and I believe it's for an air rifle team (rather than "real" guns), but that is still great news.

So much of the Left's agenda depends on creating new normalcy bias in people, things like this will ultimately be more effective than any political election.  I think that's what conservatives need to grok more than anything else -- for the past several decades we have been too focused on politics and essentially ceded the cultural battlespace to the liberals.  Culture > politics.
