Moby is either caught or just unseen, but I hooked one of his kin...on an ultra-lite rig and a silly little plastic minnow...

Decent little 17"/#3, fun on that light tackle too.

Moby remains elusive...or somebody already got him and he is currently mounted over their fireplace.

Neighbor at the lake...little kids just farting around hooked something, grandma to the pole and hauled in a big bass, had to be at least a 4 pounder!

My father got a fishing boat, 14' aluminum but lined, livewell, and 25hp Evinrude runs good...but none of the electrical (livewell, lights, trolling motor or fishfinder) works.   ::gaah::

I'll have to get that looked into.  Took it to a nearby lake, I got the only fish...a dinky little northern.   ::facepalm::

Oh well, the beer went down well though.   ::beertoast::

::cussing:: I lost Moby!  I finally had something big hooked, fought him down, fought him in, ready for the surface breach...just another 8-9 yards to go...

Mad bastard broke the surface after making a mad sprint at me, couldn't regain tension fast enough...didn't think a pig that fat get get that high...right when I was a few inches from regaining control he shook his big Buckethead and that was that.

I cussed like a banshee for what seemed like forever.

This sow was huge, my nephew got a four pounder last weekend, this bastard was well over five.

I still feel like sh*t over it.  Not even after taking to boat out again and hooking a 24 inch Northern helped, put nice slabs of meat in the freezer, but...

Moby wins again.

Always doing that...but that's a different deal.   ;)

Last sighting of Moby was a couple weeks ago...Nephew saw him too, we're guessing he is in the 6-7 lb range...he's a beast for these parts.  I still hope I can get a crack at him before winter!
