Not too long ago I found the move The Seige (
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0133952/?ref_=nm_flmg_act_68) on the web and watched it. It was a pretty good flick and one that hasn't lost its edge eighteen years later. Check it out.
There is a scene in the movie where two agencies go toe to toe. I don't want to do a spoiler so let's just say that they both believed that they were each being the patriots in a sticky situation.
The first time I viewed the video I got pissed that those servicemen would treat this vet the way they did. It looks disrespectful and disgraceful. There was no good purpose in doing what they did and it brought disgrace to the corps and those involved. But the more I saw of it the more I realized that they were following orders that placed them in a sticky situation of their own.
It was the so-called officer who richly deserves our wrath for it is he who issued the order to censor and forcibly remove Senior Master Sergeant Rodriguez - and I bet it was due to some petty grudge.
Some people are perfect a-holes - the rest of us have to practice!
