I've always been a fan of her artistic work - especially in the medium of paint.
(she specializes in painting targets on the backs of public officials)  ;)

Is Springfield still in this stupid state?  They have to flee, I won't consider buying a jar of preserves from that state!

No, but the original factory is still there as a historical site.

The modern Springfield Armory, which has no actual connection to the historical Springfield, is based in Illinois.  Not exactly an improvement!

Smith & Wesson is there.  I wonder how long they will stay.

I knew somebody was.  I like S&W products too, they gotta skeedaddle right on outta there.

Yeah, IL not better by much, rural (anywhere but Chicago) OK but state is still kinda squirrely.

Remington closed their NY factory and moved to Alabama.  I wouldn't be terribly surprised if S&W ended up doing the same -- especially since their range of AR rifles has just been categorically banned in their own state.  Colt is so dependent on government sales, they'll probably stay in CT.  Speaking of them, Colt really needs to rethink their market strategy.  They were one of the few gun manufacturers who didn't surf the wave kicked up by the Greatest Firearm Salesman in History, all because they were too focused on military contracts.

Yeah, I was going to mention Colt next, glad you brought them up...they are not looking good on the side-picking front...if not for government contracts those wealthy New England Progs in CT would be raising heck there a lot harder.
