Palmetto State's PSA47 has turned in some pretty good reviews, particularly from Rob Ski at the AK Operators Union.  If you haven't heard of him, check out his YouTube channel.  Crazy Polish guy who enjoys putting AKs and ARs through tough tests, like 5,000 round endurance tests without cleaning.  PSA's AK survived his 5,000 round endurance test.

I have one of DDI's early rifles, back when they were still using imported parts kits mated to US-made barrels and receivers.  Mine is a Hungarian one.  I like it, though I haven't fired it very much.  I and others had a lot of hope that they were going to be the ones to finally master an all-domestic AK.  Looks like PSA is closer to that goal, so it's probably for the best that DDI were absorbed into a larger outfit that can maybe see it to fruition.

Right now I am sort of lusting for one of the Molot Vepr AKs that K-VAR is importing.  If you're in the AK market, a foreign one is still the way to go.  Domestic AK builders have made a lot of promises but delivered inconsistent results.  Hopefully that will change though.

Yeah I'm hoping this leads to the AAAK - All-American AK - I mean everybody else can make them...why the hell can't we?

These K-Var's...these are the Bulgarian's, right?  Looks like their American outlet is Vegas...somehow that just fits, eh?   ;D

My Wish List needs to get pared down some day...some day...

In the meantime, hopefully Trump can repeal all the Obama BS, like the AK parts blockade!
