  • Hippies smell bad. Go away, hippie.
Yet another conservative showbiz person. Link to her website.

Radio show starts today. You can listen live here. Show starts at 10pm CDT.

She's got Breitbart on as a guest.

In a doomsday scenario, hippies will be among the first casualties. So not everything about doomsday will be bad.

I'll listen for Breitbart.

She's been an "outed" conservative for quite a while. Pretty lady too.

Not sure why she went the bleach-blond route though. She is beautiful as a brunette.
"A strict observance of the written laws is doubtless one of the high duties of a good citizen, but it is not the highest. The laws of necessity, of self-preservation, of saving our country when in danger, are of higher obligation. To lose our country by a scrupulous adherence to written law, would be to lose the law itself, with life, liberty, property and all those who are enjoying them with us; thus absurdly sacrificing the end to the means."

Speaking of the world not ending today, does anyone else believe this whole thing only got the media traction that it did because they couldn't wait to use the prediction's inevitable failure as a reason to ridicule people of faith, Christians in particular?

I mean, had anyone ever even heard of this guy before? What makes his prediction of the world ending so much more newsworthy than any number of similar predictions? I just find it a bit telling that we're admonished ad nauseam that Muslim terrorists do not represent Islam, but some old man with a little radio show and a history of false predictions somehow becomes the cause du jour for a media snickerfest and lampooning of Christians in general.

It's low hanging fruit for the media.

Plus the guy is an idiot. And the people who listened to him were idiots. Even a novice student of Scripture knows Matthew 24:36 “But about that day or hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father." Proven (obviously) innumerable times, no one has ever successfully predicted the end of the world and according to Scripture no one ever will.

I wouldn't expect a hyena to not behave as a hyena and therefore I also have no expectation for the media to act out of character.

Absolutely.  Although I did recognize the guy's name; probably because of an earlier failed prediction.

Of course, if someone did successfully predict the end of the world, then we wouldn't be having this conversation.   ;D

I got a chuckle out of this photo at Ace of Spades:

And don't miss the *LATE BREAKING RAPTOR DAY UPDATE*.

The Rapture was Awesome! : A Report from Heaven

Quote
Hey everyone! It’s me, St.naturalfake!

That’s right, I’m a saint now as I got Raptured up to Heaven last night.

One of the cool upsides to being a saint is that I get to be the Patron Saint of something. You know, like St Jude is the Patron Saint of Lost Causes or St Ambrose the Patron Saint of Beekeepers.

The downside to that is all the really cool stuff has already been patron-sainted…well, actually almost everything has been patron-sainted. Even the obscure stuff.

About the only things left are waffles, hula hoops, and fire ants.

I’m leaning towards waffles but I have to admit I really like the sound of “St naturalfake the Patron Saint of Fire Ants”.

Anywho, as you’ve probably figured out by now- you weren’t Raptured. Actually, only a couple hundred of us were Raptured worldwide. So, you probably don’t even know someone who got Raptured.

Let me tell you-

IT WAS AWESOME!!!!

Read the whole thing.  (And Natural Fake is another place where I can't comment.)  Correction:  It did appear, after a short delay.

Did he get to meet St. Pancake, Patron Saint of Roadkill? She can be recognized by the reversed Caterpillar logo embossed on her face.

The rapture took place.....but no one was called.....We were all left here in barack obama's hell.

There was a business owner here that 100% believed. His business was mower repair and sales, sold his stuff cheap....since the world was ending. It is sad...not that he was niave enough to believe this, but I didn't find out in time to buy a cheap mower.

The news coverage of this "non event" was over the top locally. Sickening. No wonder, as a nation, we are in the shape of today.

No "we"; they.  WE did our best to tell 'them' what he is, argued with friends and neighbors (I told my NJ friend if she voted for Obama, I'd "kill" her), voted for the other guy and I am not taking responsibility for what they did.

Short of actually, literally, killing them, what else were we supposed to do that we're now sucked into collective responsibility?  Newp, not having it and from what I understand, Salvation is individual, not collective.
