Obama strategy in tatters

Mitchell resignation leaves Obama strategy in tatters
...
... the [George] Mitchell resignation is seen across the spectrum as convincing evidence that the president’s Middle East peace process is dead, which makes this week’s high-level talks with the president, the king and the prime minister exercises in embarrassing irrelevancy.
....
But one rarely has the treat of seeing a top staffer go on the record in the New York Times giving his boss full personal credit for a failed policy.

The more disturbing possible conclusion from the Donilon quote is that both Mr. Obama and his staff actually believe they are carrying out a successful Middle East policy.

They're running out of Leftard diplomats of any standing too, some are so decrepit even just standing upright is a major challenge.
We are now where The Founders were when they faced despotism.

The Stymie Administration doesn't have a "strategy" . Mitchell screwed up LAST week when he recommended that Stymie give a policy speech with a "detailed plan" NEXT week . That assumed that the new Hamas/Fatah coalition could be counted on as honest partners in Israeli - Palestinian negotiations . Both Stymie and Mitchell heap foolishness on top of stupidity , leaving the whole situation murkier than ever ! They deserved each other .

mr obama is discovering his type of political manuvering and brokering may work to get his home purchased but doesn't carry much weight in the middle east.

I can't wait to hear the content of his speech....and I love the irony.....obama, famous for giving meaningless speeches, will give the ultimate meaningless speech.
I'm not always engulfed in scandals, but when I am, I make sure I blame others.

Obamakov's entire strategy, if you can call it that was never a thing made of whole cloth, so describing it as being in tatters is merely a late arriving observation for something many of us already knew.
