All the amenities. Hmmm. No mention of how they plan on electric generation. I'm pretty sure unless they're nuclear, they'll have problems. Especially in Kansas.

A large solar farm would provide enough power easy - if they don't already have a natural gas well. Bunkers for anything other and a nuke war are simply stupid. Stop up the air and or exhaust  and wait for them to open up. If they don't, well you can break in at leisure in a few days
