As promised... Guitar Thread
« on: July 26, 2017, 12:55:54 AM »
Around January, I bought a custom "Swamp Ash" Stratocaster type guitar body routed to use a Telecaster bridge and pickup. After finishing it, I decided to attempt a 'from-scratch' build. I started out using a pine 2x8, but the body wasn't thick enough for the bridge I wanted to use. So I added a walnut cap to the top. I'll let the pictures speak for themselves, but feel free to ask any questions you may come up with, and I'll do my best to answer.

What's the neck on the custom build?
"A strict observance of the written laws is doubtless one of the high duties of a good citizen, but it is not the highest. The laws of necessity, of self-preservation, of saving our country when in danger, are of higher obligation. To lose our country by a scrupulous adherence to written law, would be to lose the law itself, with life, liberty, property and all those who are enjoying them with us; thus absurdly sacrificing the end to the means."

1) Can you play it? ::popcorn::
2) Is there ANYTHING you can't do? You make baits, you forge steel, and now this????

The neck is from a 2003 Highway One model USA Telecaster.

Trust me Alan, there's plenty I can't do 😂😂😂
