I'm offended.

Where can I pick up my check?

Sorry Lady V, you don't fit the appropriate diversity profile to be offended, according to the Proglodyte Politburo.

I just recently read an account of a fracas at welfare office caused by another reprobate wanting to know why she had to wait for her "paycheck".  Seriously.  The piece went on to explain that the term is widely used by other welfare-collecting reprobates:  paycheck.

I'm no biblical scholar and don't even purport to understand a lot of it but I was always under the impression that no one would know when the end was coming--which was the point of always being ready.
